Design briefs challenge – Concept Brand Identity & Packaging Design

Rude Olive is a bold olive snack brand that doesn’t take itself too seriously, designed for bad decisions and good company. A savoury late night night snack, Rude Olive is a conceptual brand created for a new generation of olive lovers. Positioned at the intersection nightlife and convenience, the brand transforms olives from a traditional pantry staple into a playful, social snack.

The identity uses a bold tone of voice, expressive photography and a graphic illustration style to create a confident visual language. Creating a distinct brand personality, that lives up to the name. A little salty, a little provocative and never too serious.

The system was designed to include both sharing and single-serve formats, creating a cohesive experience across packaging, photography and brand applications. Flavour-led accent colours are paired with olive green tones and playful symbolism helps differentiate each product while maintaining a strong and recognisable brand presence.
